Plaza de Cibeles

La Cibeles is much more than the mythical fountain where Real Madrid celebrate their titles. It was sculpted by Ventura Rodríguez in 1782 and each corner of the square represents an emblematic building in Madrid.

Palacio de las Telecomunicaciones

The Palacio de Cibeles is made up of two buildings with a white facade located in one of the historic Madrid centers and was officially inaugurated on March 14, 1919, for use as a post office, telegraph and telephone distribution center. At the moment it lodges the municipal dependencies of the City council of Madrid and a cultural area denominated "CentroCentro".
