Footfall concentrates in four streets and the visitor data isn't yours
discoolver is the SaaS platform a city council, a tourism board or a DMO buys module by module to redistribute visitor flow, own its traveler data and turn tourist traffic into revenue for the local economy. It plugs into the website you already have. No in-house development. No mandatory app.
No commitment. The demo walks through the dashboard and how each module would look on your destination's website.
What you don't measure, you can't defend in a council session
The four symptoms that show up every time a destination grows in visitors without growing in tools of its own.
Footfall concentrates
Visitors repeat the same short loop between the same three or four landmarks. The rest of the municipality falls outside their mental map, with the pressure piling into a handful of streets and the rest of the area seeing barely any return.
Someone else holds the visitor data
Searches, reviews and bookings happen on general-purpose platforms. The destination gets third-party aggregates when it suits the third party, never the real behavior of whoever is walking its streets this morning.
Local businesses are invisible
Businesses off the main circuit have no digital presence of their own and depend on the ranking of a platform they don't control. Nobody puts them on the traveler's route, so as far as the traveler is concerned they don't exist.
In-destination spend slips away
Traveler spend shifts every year towards local in-destination services — activities, dining, experiences — and less and less towards transport and the bed. Without tools of its own, the destination neither captures nor measures that spend: it gets shared out beyond the local economy.
It isn't a tourist app. It's infrastructure for the destination
Marketplace, point of sale, route planner, events calendar, voice assistant, signage and business intelligence in a single ecosystem. Each module works on its own. Together they cover the visitor's full cycle in your destination.
The only all-in-one SaaS platform built from day one for tourist destinations
It redistributes visitor flow
The route planner and the signage take visitors to areas and businesses they don't set foot in today, based on their interests and the time they have. The destination decides what gets recommended, and from where.
It gives you back the traveler data
Every interaction with the destination's modules feeds a dashboard of your own: what people search for, where they move, what they book, which events pull. The destination owns that data.
It turns traffic into local revenue
Marketplace and point of sale let you sell your own product and product from local shops, hotels and activities. The visitor who is already in the city buys inside the destination's ecosystem.
It digitalizes the tourist office
The office and the monuments go from informing to selling, with their own payment system, ticketing and cross-selling. And with 24/7 visitor support through an assistant trained on the destination's own content.
Seven modules. Contracted separately
Monthly subscription, with no upfront investment in development. You start with the module that solves the most urgent problem and extend when the destination decides to.
Marketplace
Sale of your own tourism services and those of partners: hotels, products and events of the destination in a single shop window.
Point of sale software (POS)
Payment system for tourist offices, monuments and physical points. It turns the office into a point of sale.
Plan My Trip
Route planner by traveler type, trip length and budget. This is the tool that spreads footfall beyond the saturated circuit.
Smart Calendar
The destination's cultural and events listings with integrated ticket sales. Programming and box office in the same place.
Local voice assistant
AI chatbot trained on the destination's own content. 24/7 visitor support without adding headcount.
Signage and interactive kiosks
Interactive kiosks and QR points at key spots. This is the module that physically pushes visitors towards the areas the destination wants to activate.
Business Intelligence
Dashboard and custom reports with all the information from the destination's ecosystem.
Published per-module pricing, on a subscription basis. Point of sale adds €50 for each additional physical point. Business intelligence is included with any combination of modules.
The destination owns its data
The data doesn't arrive in a report bought from a third party: it comes from the visitor's real interaction with the modules the destination has deployed. Whoever checks a route, scans a QR code on a kiosk, buys a ticket or books an activity. That becomes a dashboard of your own and reports you can take into a governing board meeting.
If the data isn't yours, you can't use it to decide or to justify.
- Real-time dashboard: active areas, most-generated routes, most-searched categories, behavior by visitor type.
- Custom reports for the annual management report, strategic plan tracking and budget line justification.
- Your own historical series: comparing seasons stops depending on a third party continuing to publish its report.
Business intelligence is included with the modules you contract, at no extra cost. The live dashboard, with Ronda's real data, is shown in the demo.
Local businesses make money, and so does the destination
The visitor is already in the city. The difference between their spend staying in the local economy or leaving it is whether the destination has a sales channel of its own.
Direct sales by the destination
Monument tickets, guided tours, activities and own product are sold from the marketplace and from the tourist office's point of sale, with integrated payment.
Businesses off the circuit, inside the channel
Local shops, restaurants and activities go into the marketplace and into the planner's routes. They stop depending on a general-purpose platform to be found.
Commission on sales
Commission on the sales made through the marketplace. The business model is aligned: if the channel doesn't sell, it doesn't generate commission.
The destination's challenge is making the invisible visible. A business that isn't on the traveler's route doesn't exist as far as the traveler is concerned.
In the Ronda deployment this included cross-selling with hotels: the accommodation as the entry point to the destination's local offering.
Ronda: from everything crowding the center to a living route across the whole city
The starting point
A destination with visitor pressure heavily concentrated on its best-known landmark, and a fabric of local businesses off that circuit that was, in practice, invisible to anyone arriving.
What was deployed
- More than 200 local businesses and offerings integrated into the destination's platform
- Interactive kiosks at key spots across the city
- Signage with a QR code system
- Eight points of sale live, including the tourist office
- Cross-selling with hotels in the destination
Ronda is a paying client and the deployment is still in operation.

It goes into the website you already have
The modules integrate into the destination's existing portal, or deploy as a new platform if the destination prefers. The decision is the destination's, not something the supplier imposes.
No in-house development
You don't need a municipal IT team or a bespoke development contract. The modules arrive working and connect to your current portal.
No mandatory app
Visitors don't have to download anything to use the routes, the calendar or the assistant. Everything works from the browser and from the QR codes on the signage.
No complex hardware
The point of sale connects to the local product catalog and works. Kiosks and QR codes are deployed on spots the destination already has.
No months-long projects
The point of sale software is integrated in 15 days: connect it to the local product catalog and start selling.
Point of sale go-live
How you contract it and how you justify it
30-minute demo
A session with the discoolver team on your destination's specific case. No commitment.
Module selection
You define which modules solve the priority problem and close the scope. Published per-module pricing.
Financial proposal
A subscription-based proposal, with the monthly amount broken down by module and by point of sale.
Integration and training
The modules are integrated into the destination's portal and the tourism team is trained on using the platform and managing content.
Operation and dashboard
Platform live, destination data flowing and reports available from month one.
What you need to defend the budget line
- Operating expenditure, not investment: a monthly subscription per module, with no bespoke development and no technology assets to depreciate.
- Annual amount known in advance: €495/month for point of sale is €5,940 a year; €750/month for marketplace, €9,000. The budget line is sized in euros per financial year before you sit down to negotiate, not after asking for a proposal.
- Modular scope: you can start with one module and extend in the following financial year, instead of committing to a complete project in one go.
- Supporting report backed by your own data: the included business intelligence produces the reports that justify the spend and measure tourism policy.
- Demonstrable impact on the local economy: businesses integrated, points of sale live and sales through the destination's channel.
On how it fits into public procurement
What we can tell you today, and we'll say all of it: it is operating expenditure on a subscription basis, not investment and not bespoke development — there is no technology asset to depreciate and no works deliverable to sign off. Our rates are published and the annual amount is calculable before you ask us for anything. We already work with public administration: Ronda is a client in force and there is a deployment at Costa del Sol Tourism Hub, plus agreements with SEGITTUR, ICEX and ITH. And we prepare the technical and financial documentation your procedure requires, working with your procurement department instead of sending you a PDF. What we won't tell you on a website is which specific route your procurement file should follow: that is determined by your contracting authority with the subject matter and the amount in front of it, and anyone who tells you otherwise on a landing page is selling you a problem.
Questions that always come up
Who owns the data the platform generates?
The destination. discoolver provides the technology that collects and organizes it, but the dashboard and the reports belong to the body that contracts the service.
Do we have to scrap the destination's website and build a new one?
No. The modules integrate into the existing portal. If the destination prefers a new platform, that's possible too, but it isn't a requirement to start.
Do visitors have to download an app?
No. Routes, calendar, assistant and purchase work from the browser and from the QR codes on the signage. There is no mandatory app.
Can we start with a single module?
Yes. Each module works separately and is contracted separately, with its own published price. Business intelligence is included from the first module.
What does my IT team need to get it up and running?
No in-house development is needed. The point of sale software is integrated in 15 days by connecting it to the local product catalog, and the tourism team is trained to manage content without depending on the supplier.
Which other destinations have it deployed?
Ronda, with more than 200 local businesses integrated, kiosks, QR signage and eight points of sale. And Costa del Sol and Málaga, with QR signage and marketplace integration inside the Costa del Sol Tourism Hub.
How does this fit into a public procurement procedure?
As an annual subscription billed monthly: operating expenditure with a published amount, calculable per financial year. The discoolver team supports the destination in preparing the technical and financial documentation its procedure requires — the specific route is determined by your contracting authority, and we send you in writing how it fits your procurement file after the demo.
